At the recent MACH 2024 show, we once again demonstrated why Floyd Automatic is the industry authority on cutting tools and solutions for sliding head turning and small-part manufacturing. From the 15th to the 19th of April, we showcased a host of innovations from our technical partners at the MACH 2024 show at the Birmingham NEC and we were joined at the show by many of our partners.
Commenting upon the overall success of MACH
Managing Director, Mr Richard Floyd said: “MACH was once again a major success for our business with enquiries on par with MACH 2022. The pleasing aspect of this year's event is that more than 40% of visitors to our stand were new names to us. With a huge uplift in new enquiries, our engineers have plenty to work on after the show. For us, there was a trend with more high-quality enquiries from the medical and aerospace sectors with the general subcontract market also investigating ways to enhance their machining performance with our product lines.”
The longstanding partnerships with leading machine tool manufacturers like Star and Citizen allowed engineers to see our latest cutting tools undertaking live demonstrations on their stands. In fact, many show visitors made their way from the sliding head lathe stands to our stand to gather further information on specialist products.
Using the show as a chance to demonstrate our exceptional relationships with partners such as MASA Tools, Mikron Tool, Madaula, Schlenker, Ifanger, Schaublin, Schwanog, Applitec and Alesa – we even had technical experts like Ivano Bernasconi from Mikron Tool, Dave from MASA Tools, and Jordi from MADAULA on the stand at MACH to give show visitors expert support.
