We were delighted to be asked again by Citizen Machinery UK Ltd to participate as a tooling partner at this year's Open House at their Centre of Excellence in Brierley Hill in October. The event was well attended, and we were able to meet many of our regular customers and some new ones too.
Of particular interest was the introduction of the new MASA Microconic sub spindle collet system for the smaller Ø7mm and Ø12mm capacity sliding head machines using F15 and F16 collets. The system offers very high accuracy clamping and over-gripping capability, ideal for small component machining.
