Floyd Sectors   Tools for different industries
We are suppliers of precision tooling & equipment to manufacturers of precision components for industries including: Medical, Automotive, Aerospace & Electronics.
Zeus Image Zeus Hommel & Keller
We will be showcasing examples of applications that demonstrate the different knurling possibilities available. Another highlight is the new diamond tip burnishing tools and the latest innovations from the Zeus marking tool range.
MASA Image MASA Microconic
Our engineers will be on hand to demonstrate The MASA Microconic “game changing” part holding systems for Sub-Spindle applications on Sliding Head machines. The Microconic’s collet system is available in F20, F25 and F37 versions.
EVOCUT-Line Image Applitec EVOCUT-Line
Applitec's EVOCUT-Line is suitable for high performance parting and grooving on everything from stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel through to titanium, aluminium alloys, copper, bronze, plastic and more. Offered with four insert widths of 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3mm that are capable of machining up to a maximum 44mm depth of cut with through coolant holders.
Mikron Image Mikron Tool
Floyd first introduced the Mikron Crazy drill to the UK back in 2003, and Mikron have continued to develop their range to meet the needs of machining today’s advanced materials used in the Automotive, Aerospace and Medical industries. A small selection of their high performance drills and end mills will be on display. Come and take a look.
Alesa Image Alesa Delta Milling Tools
The new Delta Indexable inserts have 6 ground cutting edges and are mounted tangentially on the milling body with a 20° positive helix angle and completely ground surfaces and angles. The advantages of the delta insert: gain in efficiency due to 6 completely ground cutting edges, positive effect on the spindle load due to the helix angle and the small cutting forces.
